Two great musicians covering a song that can't be done live outside the studio. Great until the channels need to become out of phase and the choir needs to come in. The studio engineer on the original is a genius. But this is probably the best attempt at a cover. Though not even close. Cannot be done live including by the band.

10 years have passed, and throughout this period I still return to this video, because this is where it all started, it was from this cover that I discovered this incredible duo and since then I've been following them and that's really cool, it's It's incredible to see and be able to understand the power that music and art have in our lives.

My friend Brian burned bridges. He​ struggled with heroin addiction, I let him stay with me and my wife and 2 sons. He had a couple relapses staying with me but I had similar experiences in the past. I didn’t hold it against him. I loved him and wanted to see him get better. His dad would occasionally call me and see how he was doing once I got him working with me doing plumbing. He was getting high behind my back but I still cared and tried to turn the other cheek and pretend I didn’t know. His actions eventually got me to relapse into a bad binge of meth and heroin mixed with oxy and suboxone. I eventually got clean and he met a girl he liked and decided to do the same. He moved out and ended up having a son. Brian Jr. He was working and sober and doing great. His father got to see his son clean and with his own son. It was beautiful… Brian soon lost his job and fell into a depression and panic of how he could provide for his family. Given he was a previous heavy opiate user, under stress Brian used one more time. He had one more relapse in him, but he didn’t have anymore recoveries. Brian’s tolerance to opiates were gone and one day in his dad’s bathroom, he mixed a shot of heroin that he didn’t know was laced with fentanyl… I’m in tears now writing this to you that Brian was found by his little brother 30 mins later dead in the bathroom. Paramedics showed up and tried to administer narcan, but Brian was gone. He is survived by Brian Jr, his son. I miss him so much and I wish I could’ve done more…. This was his favorite song.
